Our experience: We had an average size room with a compact but comfortable on suite shower room / toilet. The hotel provides Dove soap in the shower but nothing else. The beds are hard but hey you're not going to be in them for long! Remember to ask for a non smoking room when you book though. We got a smoking one which had that stale smell of cigarettes, which is unattractive even to some smokers. As they were fully booked there was no chance of changing on the night. They serve a continental breakfast in the lobby which is quite pleasant. The choice is limited but acceptable and the coffee was surprisingly good out of a machine! There is a carpark but it has very few spaces compared with the number of guests. If you cannot find a space in their carpark then park your car in the NCP opposite. Don't do what we did and park on a single yellow line at 4am in the morning only to find that our car was towed at 7am to Mitcham of all places and it cost us £260 to release it plus the cab fare plus the time it took!

(please note this hotel provides very basic accommodation without frills) Southampton House 192-206 York Rd, London, SW11 Tel: 0870 191 1688 Web: www.travelodge.co.uk Our experience: the corridors were smelly! The rooms and shower rooms (we saw 3 as some of our friends stayed) were very basic and small and there were definitely no frills. If you just want somewhere to lie down for a couple of hours then fine but if you're planning some romance or a special treat or some naughty sex then we wouldn't recommend it. We felt embarrassed that we had booked our friends in here! |

Our
experience: We had a very nice and spacious room with a good sized shower
room. The decor was modern and everything felt much more luxurious than
the Holiday Inn Express and definitely way better than the Travelodge. There
was a mini bar which was great at 4am in the morning when we really needed
something refreshing. They served a full english or continental breakfast
in the dining room which was average but acceptable. They have a car park
which although busy still had spaces at 4am.

Grand Chelsea Harbour (5 star) Our
experience: This is a 5 star hotel and definitely recommended if you
want to spoil yourselves and have a very special stay in London. Great
outlook, fabulous rooms and bathrooms, all the extras and touches
you would expect. You definitely want to make a week-end of it if
staying here! Have your car valet parked! |

House (4 star) We haven't stayed here but have heard good reports from those who have. This is a luxurious 4 star hotel with its own special character. Well worth checking out for a special occasion. |

The F Club has appointed KEEN CARS in Wandsworth to provide taxis for members attending the club. They are committed to providing fair and reasonable rates and an excellent service. Their drivers understand the nature of the club and act with the utmost discretion. They know where the club is which is a great advantage as some taxi drivers are not familiar with the Wandsworth area.
